The New Jersey DOE and six universities are partners in a USDOE Math Science Partnership (MSP) grant to improve STEM education and student achievement in New Jersey. Planning is being done to use $1.2 Million from that grant, and assistance from those universities, to pilot PMI in New Jersey middle and high schools by supporting the professional development (PD) of teachers through a sequence of three courses, to be offered this summer, fall and spring.
